We aim to be a friendly welcoming and inclusive club that respects the traditions of the game, while endeavouring to move forward and make any changes that the members want. We have a longstanding group of members, but I particularly want new members to feel welcome and to quickly become a part of the fabric of the club and to enjoy both their golf and the social events that the club puts on through the year.

On the playing side there is something for all abilities. We have the "serious" singles and pairs competitions through the season but there are also more relaxed team competitions at regular intervals. We are proud that we now have a Scratch team that had a successful start in the scratch league pyramid last year and a West Midlands League team that enjoys a consistent level of success each season. We also have a "B" Team that plays friendly fixtures against a number of other clubs. If you are interested in playing for the club and would like to know more please contact me.

Our Club Professional, Paul Johnson, his assistant Dan Jackson and the rest of their team offer an excellent service for all your golfing needs, The shop is well stocked and the Swing Room and the Practice area behind the 16th tee provide state of the art teaching facilities. Please sign up for Paul's weekly video Newsletter.

Our Catering team offer high quality, value for money, food and beverages, through our recently modernised kitchen and the well stocked bar. Please see the current menus for the range of meals on offer.

Following some major investment in new equipment, our Green keepers, under the leadership of Tim Durrell have achieved some impressive improvements to the course and playing conditions have improved significantly over the past couple of years - recognised by Worcestershire now using the course for a number of county fixtures this year.

The Lady Captain and I have chosen Halas Homes as our charity this year. This local organisation that provides a range of services for local people with learning disabilities does some great work. They are very much into the performing arts and to help all of their clients to be able to participate they need a purpose built stage. This will cost circa £3500 and this is our initial target for the year. Your support would be so appreciated.

Finally, enjoy your golf, and everything else that the club can offer this year.
Kind Regards - Keith Thorn 2018 Captain
